* What are you currently reading?
I’m reading a few books all at once; just can’t seem to pick one and stick with it for any given time. These include
- The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen: love her books and this one is just getting good; there’s a mysterious light that keeps flashing in Emily’s window so she decides to follow it – through the woods and barefooted all the way into town and then it disappears, saddened Emily trudges back to her grandpa’s house to find the light there and a box of bandaids on the floor for her battered feet.
- Crazy Cool by Tara Janzen: this is the 2nd in the Steele Street series and the 3rd of Janzen’s books I’ve read. I’m loving this series. Typical steamy romance with bad boys turned special forces… But I’m not liking this one as much as I did the other 2 I’ve read.
- My current audio book is The Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean Auel: Great narrator, very descriptive storytelling of our prehistoric ancestors. I’ve really become attached to Ayla and can’t wait to see what happens to her.
* What did you recently finish reading?
Finished listening to the audio version of Eragon by Christopher Paolini. This is a fast paced adventure tale with dragons, elves, dwarves, witches and werecats. Great narration, except the narrator’s interpretation of Saphira’s voice, which kinda creeped me out.
* What do you think you’ll read next?
My next audio book coming is Eldest by Christopher Paolini, the 2nd in the Inheritance Cycle. I’ve got so many books in my TBR pile it’s hard to choose which one to read next!
