* What are you currently reading?
I recently started Voyager by Diana Gabaldon. This is the third book of the Outlander series and it has been a few years since I read the other two, but I’m hoping I can jump right back in with Jamie and Claire and that I can race through the 1000+ pages!!
I’ve also started The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne, which is an interesting take on the concentration camps – our young protagonist Bruno has no clue what is going on outside his new bedroom window.
My current audio book is Sin Killer by Larry McMurtry, which I have to say is very different. I have no idea how this one is going to turn out!
* What did you recently finish reading?
I recently finished The Tale of Halcyon Crane by Wendy Webb….SO GOOD!
* What do you think you’ll read next?
Well I’m leaving for a little road trip with my mom and sister to Alabama this weekend, so I’ve pulled out all sorts of books that I want to read…knowing full well there’s no way I can read them all, plus it wouldn’t leave room for my clothes and more importantly, my shoes! But here’s what I’ve narrowed the pile down to:
- Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell – on the ereader - for the June Read-Along hosted by Allie @ A Literary Odyssey.
- Saving CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman
- Fried Green Tomatoes by Fannie Flagg – An Alabama Favorite! – Actually, the only book I could find in my library based in Alabama…any suggestions?
- Pioneers (on page 42/383) – on the ereader – by James Fenimore Cooper

Mel:LOL that’s pretty far off!!
Me: I think I need another …
Mel: lol Maybe they were sending multiple books and got the addresses mixed up? Kinda hard to look at one of those and mistake it for the other…
Me: Yeah, I’m sure that’s what happened. I bet the person who wanted a vampire seduction will be sorely disappointed though!
