I LOVE books that take hold of you and won’t let go ’til the very end – books that you HAVE to read in one sitting, if at all possible. Here are some of the books I remember devouring all at once.
How to Dance with a Duke by Manda Collins – Adult Regency Romance with a great mystery twist
Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren (same with book #2 – Cascade) -
GREAT YA historical fiction/romance with a bit of time travel
still working on book #3 – Torrent
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins – YA dystopian adventure -
>you just can’t put it down until the end of the games!
Ashfall by Mike Mullin – hello, Yellowstone has exploded!
Can’t wait for book #2!
Sophie and Carter by Chelsea Fine – this is a short and sweet YA romance.
I’m hoping for a sequel!
Exclusively Yours by Shannon Stacey – another adult romance -
if you love camping and the outdoors, you’ll love this one as well!
Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles – best one of the trilogy (IMHO)
Summer at Willow Lake by Susan Wiggs -
I remember staying up late in the night to finish this one (another adult romance, but clean if I remember right
)
Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling – any of them really,
but the later (and much thicker ones) will keep you up late in the night!

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer – even though I’m so OVER this series right now,
when I first read Twilight a few years ago, it was the first time in a long time
that I was feverishly flipping the pages.

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We’d love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

I love your comment about being over Twilight, but I agree the first book really sucks you in.
Great list

Our Top Ten!

THE HUNGER GAMES seems to be coming up frequently on lists. I read it, but it took me a couple of days. I’m sure it’s not because it isn’t a page-turner, but I probably had things I needed to do so I couldn’t dedicate the time. It’s certainly a great book.
I am 100% with you with The Hunger Games, Twilight (I also am completely over the series) and Harry Potter.
Great list! Here’s my Top Ten. Would love for you to stop by.
